ok im 14 and im in love with nirvana and music that is older than most parents of kids my age. rock has become a fashion statement and itsreally annoying. people will where a nirvana, jimi hendrix, or bob marley shirt and i ask name some songs by them, and they cant name 1. this world has lost good music! i want to be a musician and revive this good pure music. my band covered Time by pink floyd and a grateful dead song. our band name is The Purple sound. check us out for the sake of music!!!

@pimpandprostitutetoo haha , in no way am i saying i'm superior for liking Nirvana , nor am i dismissing that other people do like modern mainstream music ; i'm just stating my opinion on music , so in a sense you're being a bit of a hypocrite. Not trying to be a bitch either btw. It's not that music's gotten shitter (though in my opinion it certainly has) it's more just that it's not as poetic or meaningful as it used to be) and a lot of the lyrics are just very ignorant and , well , stupid.

@GetBorn27 Learn to respect other people's ideas of what good music is. Think about it for a sec. When you say "this world has lost good music" you're talking about what YOU believe is good music. The fact that other people like Rihanna or Paramore or One Direction as much as you like Nirvana does not make your taste in music superior. Also, people choose clothing mostly because of what it looks like, so your argument is invalid. Not trying to be a bitch btw, just suggesting you to try tolerance
