weird! when i was a kid, I opened the snes cartridge and used jumper wires on the board to glitch myself into areas (early 90s) ... now im sad that i did that. I wish I had that game still around.

How do people even find these glitches?
Do they look at the code and follow logical steps to find them?
Cause this glitch is completely random.

All of the glitches I've found never used Memory watch. This glitch isn't random either, it's pretty much an 1 frame anomaly when you use the mirror and jump off the ledge at the same time. Another way to find glitches is to mess around the game, ignore the in-game hints and rules and play it your own way.

Okay, why the heck does nintendo ADD glitches? This doesn't work on the SNES version, so there can't be any explanation other than they added a glitch. I'm puzzled...maybe it was a side effect of making the name of the level you're at?

I guess IT is the text that pops up when entering the dungeon that causes Link to have freedom. It's weird I know but the GBA version added new elements (such as canceling your Flute Warps) but each one had exploits.
