  • Horowitz touches my heart every time... I don`t agree with the last comments... This man is just not from this world.... ;-)!

  • i disagree, this peice is like after having a huge loss and trying to deal with it, so yes maybe it wont let go of the heart but because the loss is to much to bear. sorry about the english.

  • it's beautiful!

i don't like this Valse so much but this man plays it on a special way! and that makes it beautiful i think!

  • soo trueee

    he does it to fast

it looses the essence of what a watlz should be

  • I absolutely doubt you can play it like him. Even if it is "easy", it is hard to play it correctly. Pour Elise is very easy, so that means no professional pianists should play it? come on!

  • Doesn't appeal to me either. This is a piece that grabs you by the heart and won't let go, it should flow and enthrall. His performance fails to do so, it's overly rubato, manneristic; at times it almost feels like he's tripping.

yeahso0578 - be it as it may, this is not a speed contest and Horowitz doesn't need to prove his prowess to anyone. Though quite likely I would like your version more than his ;-)...

  • i do not like HOROWITZ Chopin W.B.34-2.

    'cause it is too fast.

i imagine this music is the elegant lady in dark dress and modest.

this music was dedicated to the noble lady by Chopin when he composed.

  • Absolutly. He is playing too fast but thats they way they play when playing live.

I dont like this version. But thanks for sharing it with us.
