PB's mean nothing in major champs. It's what you do on the day. If it was talent alone then Merlene Ottey and Asafa Powell would have more gold than they do.

that could apply to rooney, bingham, or jonathan borlee, hell it could apply to most of the field if they ran near their PB's. In regards to running fast in the prelims it could also apply to Jonathan Borlee. Don't get me wrong, Gillick is a very good runner, but you can't make assumptions with the could have, would have. Many of the guys have run much better than this but you gotta put it together on the day, something Gillick hasnt done yet.
