I can't believe that Chris Miller is propagating that age-old myth that Science Fiction is a "... literature of ideas ... rather than of great characters". Phil made his characters more human than just about any authors, mainstream or otherwise. I'm not sure why the author of Animal House was asked to comment on PKD.
