And Yes, he is Catholic.

facts, logic, good organization, points well made--and i think he is right--if we let ID be taught as science we will lose our world standing as innovators and leaders--or what is left of it, since our schools and students are already falling behind many countries

Alex, your first sentence displays a huge misunderstanding of what sexual selection is and what scientists claim about it, which seems to indicate that you did not even take a look at the first few results from google. Please buddy, you owe it to yourself to at least examine the evidence and gain an understanding of what researchers claim is happening before you assert that they are full of it.

@bdw5000 That would not explain that species would be invested with the shamanistic ability to grow or alter organs and limbs while evolving into something else. Atheism has no provision for causality and there would be zero % probability and no reason for anything to evolve intelligently designed, programmed and engineered under a Darwinian atheistic evolution. The video of a land mammal evolving into whales upon crossing millions of years is not even poor science fiction

@bdw5000 Thanks. I sat for about 5 mins just thinking what to say to this retard, but then just thought to myself 'what's the point, he'll never listen'. Their problem is not that they are illogical, well they are, but the problem is deeper, it is a pyschological need to believe in a higher being. I dunno whether is is fear of being insignificant in this huge universise, or simply the need to wallow in their own sence of personal grandiosity, but you might as well be talking to a wall

I highly suggest you google "sexual selection", click on the first 5 links, and spend 30 minutes of your life learning about it. It's fascinating stuff. You will thank me later. :)

@tool2342 I am really trying to make sense of seeing a species like the peacock as not being intelligently designed, (the beauty of its plumage), programmed, (the intricacy of the nuptial dance by the male) and engineered (the fantastic mechanism it also shares with other species. Atheists ought to be completely blind and it is paradoxical that the foundation of the new cult can be traced in ancient shamanistic beliefs. Enjoy your delusion. The fool says in his heart there is no God.
I have one nearly 2 hours long! Is this an extract of that talk?

Yes, this is just the lecture. I removed the question and answer session.
