Lorne Michaels said he lost money on this show and wants nothing to do with it ever again. Seems that if he made it available on DVD, he could make some of his money back. Of course there's the liscensing to all the musicians that appeared on the show.

With all of the other TV crap available on DVD, this great program remains lost in the void.
It's amazing Sanborn got away with this at all on American television.

that is not dave douglas, it's herb robertson! and liberty was probably still in high school then. That is allan jaffe (i think).
