Baaz Trap - The Balance of Nature Disturbed

We Encountered a Trap to catch Falcon's / Baaz, which was quite interesting and sad at the same time, on our way back from Gwadar to Karachi. God has created this beautiful world with adorable creations like man, plants, animals & birds. History reveals that even before man had his appearance, earth was dominated by birds of prey. However, these majestic birds are diminishing in number for varied reasons such as drop in reproduction, failure in egg laying, delayed breeding, persistent use of pesticides such as DDT, Dieldrin & loss of habitat.

The sudden decline in population of birds of prey has compelled all concerned to think & broaden their outlook for a comprehensive plan to deal with the situation

Sikh history points out that Shaheen Falcon & also known as BAAZ has high reverence in masses. The tenth Guru of Sikhs Guru Gobind Singh Ji has adored Shaheen Falcon in his customary attire. Shaheen Falcon or Baaz depicted the symbol of power. It personified bravery & destruction of enemies & foreign rulers.
