It came from the land down under. Pity it didn't just stay there. I just had to step in it. Tonight, I take a look at the "Red Dawn" wannabe "Tomorrow, When The War Began".

Will I still be sane by the time this movie is done? There is only one way to find out.

  • i have three movies Boondock Saints, Legend of 1900, and Children of Men

  • @YoungMetalHead94 I have already seen Boondock Saints, so I can't do an R&R of it.

However, I haven't seen Children of Men and I haven't even heard of Legend of 1900, so those I might be able to do at some point.

  • You do realize that by saying that you will NOT do any sequels to this movie, you have opened the floorgates for people to beg you to do them or have a certain someone send them to you; a certain person with 5 initials.

  • @BygPhattyPlus Well, he can't send any of the sequels if I don't put them on the Wish List. I moved recently, and he doesn't have this address.

  • haha its so obvious you don't know much about australia from this review. I am aussie and the movie is quite mediocre. The books are a common reading material for kids in early high school (junior high). So the story itself is very nostalgic for kids in australia. I don't think this movie was meant to be made for worldwide audience.

For australian film making the effects are quite good and its not bad for the resources we have here.

Just putting it into perspective for you a little bit.

  • @cameland Understandable. Frankly, it was an Australian friend who told me about it. Otherwise, I would have never even known about it, since it was never released to a global audience.

However, I think it sort of works that the film gets seen through the eyes of an American who has no knowledge of the book series. Granted, I didn't like the movie, but I think it made for a halfway decent episode.

  • Okay, you don't get the irony of the title. Get over it. And I'm bored by people who want every movie to start with a bang. Never mind about characters, right? Bah.

  • That made me laugh alot lol

  • it was ok, though there were a shit load of just unnecessary scenes.. it was entertaining. its the terminator 3 of the australian film industry, there were entertaining bits and there were bits that were just fuckin pointless...

  • Have you seen the south park movie?

  • Fuel Tankors? Indestructible?......*headdesks*

  • Obviously you don't know what a good movies is.

  • whata fat cunt

  • The novel is much, much, much better then that piece of shit that was the film, and I live in Australia, as well as my friends sisters friend being the star of the film...
