Al Korelin catches up with Bill Murphy, Chairman of Gata (Gold Anti Trust Action Committee) and discusses the events driving the recent markets volatility.

The Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee was organized in the fall of 1998 to expose, oppose, and litigate against collusion to control the price and supply of gold and related financial instruments. The committee arose from essays by Bill Murphy, a financial commentator on the Internet (LeMetropoleCafe.com), and by Chris Powell, a newspaper editor in Connecticut.

  • In the long run.... bla-bla-bla. We all know that Silver will rise in the long run, but why not waiting until it comes down to 20$? When Deflation comes and it will come, Silver will see 20$ again. Too many people want me to believe we will see 60-100$ immediately. I dont think that.

20$ first ... and then 100$. Thats my plan and maybe the plan of many big investors who are waiting for a good price to buy in.

  • china government wants a cheap yuan, so go into gold for the public

us wants exact opposite so go into us dollar according to us gov

  • @666katch Ya, buying neutrons/air/aka paper precious metals with currency is definitely NOT the way to go. Buy physical which is (real money) !!!

  • Physical. Strong hands.

  • Physical is the only way to buy. I feel sorry for people that still buys paper!
