  • That is phenomenal!

Question: are those car prints from original photos that were then colored or were they drawn and painted by an artist?

  • @passingbynight Each tobacco company had a team of artists. Unfortunately, many of the companies didn't reveal the names of the artists for fear that they would ask for more money. The original artwork that the cards are based on sometimes come up in auctions. It normally goes quite cheaply on the rare occasions when it does turn up.

  • that Bugatti is wild looking.

  • I'm putting a couple more motor car sets on today: 1920s and 1950s.

  • cheers mate! I'm putting a couple more car sets on soon.

  • Nice cars finish at 50' s.

  • We are at a time in history 100 years down the track where the excitement of Henry Ford and his Motor Car, Alexander Graham Bell, Guglielmo Marconi, Thomas Edison and his wonderful inventions & others that paved the development of the 20th Century has been reinstalled into the hearts and minds of those engaged in the development of technology passing into the 21st Century.

  • classic work of art! 5 stars

  • I had this whole set back in the 40's. Wish I had kept them. They would be worth a small fortune to-day.

  • your accent is SWEET!

  • 1930's cars look soooo nice. much nicer than modern cars, anyone agree?
