@CarpManDan93 Catch & release indeed. But I'm not a 'nice american' as... I am French (although I live in the US). So your question made me smile... ;-)

Just double hinge the rig simple as , and ad a bit of shrink tube just over the eye and the twist of the knotless knot your first hinge should be about two inches behind the eye and the next hinge half way down the rig , and the line thickness has nothing to do with it I use snakebite all the time even the same rig I use in France never had a problem , great video tho learned a lot cheers !!!

Hi I'm new to carp fishing I was wondering if you could give me some advice, how long would you recommend leaving your boilie/pop up in water before recasting I sometimes feel I'm not leaving it in long enough. I also use pva bags

line far too thick, i think stiff rigs should be kept short for best results..just a thought,..

why don`t you use a shorter rig. a small 6cm stiffrig. much more chance to hook
just curious why dont you just put a couple kernels on the hook

@1337petergriffin Common wisdom from the carp fishing community is that a bare hook with a hair rig gives you more hook-ups, but... truth is I never did a video to prove the point! Maybe I should... Maybe we'd be surprised...

@JeromeMoisand use a long shank hook and fill the shank with kernels would that work?
jgsnipe1 6 months ago
@jgsnipe1 You can catch this way, no question. But this would probably not be very effective, as the movement of the hook would be impaired by the corn, and the whole thing will likely be spit out before hooking any part of the carp's mouth. Still... you will catch some, I'm sure.

your lines to thick thats why they spit it out

@dfg297lpopdirk Not 100% sure about the thickness aspect, but yes, I don't like this type of hook link... Just wanted to experiment with it to stay open-minded though!
