why the hell is everyone talking about Susan Boyle?? If you were actually a fan of the musical, you would know that extremely talented people have sung this song. The only reason Susan Boyle made it famous is because they made her into some super celebrity. but come on people!! she doesn't own the song...

In my opinion, Anne Hathaway's version of I Dreamed A Dream is 1000 times better that Susan's. Susan does have a great voice and all, but Anne showed real emotion in her performance.

Maybe. Your reply reminds me of a comment I hear about Maria Callas. I heard that she was the best not because she sang perfect arias (although she had the capacity to do so), but because she acted the full emotions of the scene when she was singing even if that meant to distort her voice during the song.
