Whats your race weight with the 10.29 pass?
My buddy has a similar combo but with a 5 speed..Search "10 Second Street Beater" if you want to see it

@bcorrell2008 thanks for that info!! i was planning on running the h beam rods with a dome top piston? what balance do u have on the crank?

@HEMIH3AD You'd be better off going with the smaller 331 stroker (with production block) or deal with a 351w block as it'd last longer. 306's can get mighty fierce too. 351 would also be cheaper to build, plenty of blocks still around, and it would last longer by far. Plus, hardly anyone does them anymore. Clearance issues with steering shaft and carb/air filter, but easy work arounds. 351w have bigger crank bearing caps too. If you want a serious 347, go with an aftermarket block like Dart.

what was your 60ft on this run ? it looks like you hooked just as good as on your other runs so I wondered if you spun off the line as there reads "this run was a 10.43 - the track was a bit slippery" in the descirption.
oh and btw - what rims are those ? weld ? greetings
I just watched the 10 sec street beater vid. Sweet! That car runs awesome!
My car weighed 3100 w/me in it.

is this just motor? so a c4 tranny with a 302 small block with 347 stroker kit. anything else? im building a car now and i have a 302 and a c4 tranny as of now for the car. trying to decide what stroker kit is best so i was just wondering if thats all you have into it because 10.4 is dam good for just 347 stroker kit and thats right about where i want to run in the 1/4 mile

@mxcinema01 All engine. Yes, 302 block, 347 rotating assy. That's it. Pretty basic EFI setup. Definitely go with a forged 4340 crank, H beam rods and a decent piston like a SRP or a Diamond. A good cyl head is very important, too. I am a big fan of AFR. It has run a best of a 10.29 at 128 mph with this setup.

I don't remember. Probably a 1.38. See the track was actually slick further out than the first 60'. There were lots of oil downs that day. She was sixty footing ok, just getting a hair loose further out. She's normally 1.36 to 1.38 sixty foot time.
