Since I couldn't find very many sound clips of what this exhaust sounded like before I bought it I figured I'd take it upon myself to provide one. It really sounds nice in the video but it is actually a little deeper sounding in real life until you hit the higher RPM. If you are interested in buying one for your YZF go to http://store . 58cycle . com/ or just www . 58cycle . com then click on store. I also ordered the LED undertail from 58cycle and it is beautifully crafted.

  • I got rid of that bike a while ago and upgraded to a cbr 954. Loved it, great gas mileage, comfort, style (with the seat cowling), and quick to add. Miss it, a great great around town bike.

  • I've also installed a Pyramid seat cowl and some flush mount led front turn signals. So I'll be taking another longer video shortly.

  • Yeah, it sounds a little better in person. The undertail was pretty easy to put on... took me a few hours to install it myself in the parking lot of my barracks with limited tools. You will need some wire connectors, crimpers and strippers, hex keys, a drill with drill bits, and a plug in dremel tool with some cutting wheels would make it alot easier than my way.... with a hack saw!! I did take pictures of the whole process so if you want send me your email and I can send them to ya!

  • these bikes are not capable of 175mph if you hit that speed you speedo is off I have a 2004 and mine will come no where near that kinda speed I've had mine up to 140 and that is getting near redline to ad almost another 40mph for just a thousand rpms left it won't happen

  • nice vid man i got me a yzf with the same exsust but doesnt sound the same its even louder idk lol people say itsouds like a f1 passing by them oh well! lol

  • lol im not lieing man im sure the speedometer is off from the factory and i wasn't afraid to do stuff cause i been around bikes my whole life so why dont you get your facts straight man. Just cause its my first bike doesn't mean i haven't rode one before lol yall sure do like to talk alot of shit on the internet before yall know the whole story.....pretty pathetic actually man hows about try dating women or gettin a hobby cause internet argueing is really immature man

  • you are such a liar.

  • A 600r is my first bike and the first time ever on it i did 175mph down the interstate! lol I also tried wheelies the 1st day i got my bike, its a great starter bike the comfort feels great and wheelies come easy through experience

  • where are you stationed? i'm at cherry point. i have a '97 black cat

  • I also have a 600r, I would say that it is a awesome first bike. My first was a FZR 600 and I loved that bike too, so much that when I was at the shop buying parts for it I bought this one. To me this is basically the newer version of the FZR but more aimed at comfort and wind protection. Anyway great first bike, good to start and you won't out grow it too soon.

  • i have the exact same bike man...where did you get your frame sliders...i had some but they don't stick out quite as far as yours
