She played her part very well in Prayer's for Bobby. I watch the film all the time.. over and over again since the day I bought it on iTunes. I still remember the day it premiered on Lifetime and I watched it. I had to keep the volume turned down because... well... my parents wouldn't want me watching anything about homosexuality in a positive light. You see, they don't know about me yet. And this film.. is very comforting to those, like me, to know, that I'm alright. Nothing is wrong with me.

She is a brilliant actress! First time when I saw "Prayers for Bobby", I hate Mary a lot! How could a mother do those things to her son... However, I realized that every mother loves her own son in different ways, so as Mary. Just because of old-fashioned mind that makes the mother's love become an execution. Mary wasn't wrong... she just loved her son in a wrong way.. That's all...

The human mind goes in circles as century`s go by, i.e. one day it`s good the next day it`s bad. It will never change. There should be no editing in adult films. You dont mind showing violence yet your terrified of showing sex scenes & nudity.

She did awesome. I didn't like her in the movie because I thought she was selfish but she was scared for her son. Sad that this was a true story. =/ R.I.P the real bobby!

Sigourney's scene where she speaks before the local Walnut Creek City Council in the movie Prayers for Bobby, is breath taking. Why she didn't win the Emmy for her role as Bobby's mother, is for the sames reasons Brokeback Mountain did not win the Oscar for best picture.

I have been a huge fan of Sigourney Weaver since the Alien movies, she is the best actress I know of. Bless her heart.
