Chk666S, by the way, why are you calling me an idiot? Why would you call someone in the 5th grade or a person with down syndrome a moron? Why do you claim I am uneducated? Is it because I disagree with you? You make a lot of statements that are not true. In a respectful debate, one doesn't say derogatory comments to another when disagreeing. Are you having a difficult time keeping up?

Chk666S Thanks for showing me that simple calculation again. It is interesting how "most" scholars, secular or otherwise agree on that. Just because many agree on that calculation, does it make it so? The majority of Christians in Germany put Hitler in power. Did that make them right? Many Christians have distorted Christs' teachings. Look at the mess in the church today. But there are also people trying to do it right who believe. We have a habit of lumping bad eggs with good eggs.

Good Morning Chk666s. No, there have been many religious wars throughout time. As there have been many there are not religion based. You are welcome.

These conquerors were not fighting religion wars like they do in the Middle East today. Alexander The Great let his conquered people keep their own religions. Genghis Khan wasn't trying to convert people into his religion. It wasn't like the catholic vs the protestants in Ireland. Does this help you at all?

You again don't understand your own belief system.. Wars are caused by groups of people believing in different things/different ideas.. These different ideas come in the form of propaganda.. Many of the conquerors you spoke of declared war in the name of some form of god.. Have you no knowledge of history? You should really stop putting your foot in your own mouth..

Genghis Khan, Alexander The Great, The English and Roman Empires were fighting for economics, land, trade routes, and power. The Napoleonic wars, were not religion based. I could go on. There were and are many wars based on religion, but there are more based on land, power, greed, and economics.

@Fularmor

That's the point of being all knowing.. Emotion is an impossibility with knowing everything.. I sure hope that I'm talking to someone still in 5th grade or with down's syndrome.. At least I could understand why you are a moron

@Fularmor

Adam was created on Day 6, so there were 5 days before him. If we add up the dates from Adam to Abraham, we get about 2,000 years, using the Masoretic Hebrew text of Genesis 5 and 11.3 Whether Christian or secular, most scholars would agree that Abraham lived about 2,000 B.C. (4,000 years ago).

So a simple calculation is: 5 days + ~2000 years + ~4000 years ______________ ~6000 years

Again please actually know wtf you are talking about b4 you post again. thx

@Fularmor

The age of the earth can be estimated by taking the first 5 days of creation (from earths creation to Adam), then following the genealogies from Adam to Abraham in Genesis 5 and 11, then adding in the time from Abraham to today.
