Saddam was going to start selling his oil in Euros instead of dollars. That's one of the big reasons we invaded. If other middle eastern countries followed suit, trading their oil for Euros, the almighty dollar would have been decimated. Stealing the oil was a perk. As were all the no bid contracts and funding for the war machine. Looks like Obama runs in the same circles. Shame. That's not at all what he told the people what they were voting for.

the US got more oil from Iraq before the war than they have got during the war, so how is it about oil?? Before the war = 270,000,000 barrels per year. During the war = 180,000,000 barrels per year. The US gets less oil today than before the war in Iraq. you can access this information from reliable sources on any website and all statistics support the information that i have supplied. the 180,000,000 barells is the average amount for all 10 yrs that we have been in Iraq...
