I tend to lean towards A.O. Scott.... I read his reviews, and they are pretty spot-on most of the time - when he's not influenced by Philips, I suppose!

our show is an At the Movies rip as well..lol.. I like A.O. and Michael and Ben and Ben basically sucked. My only complaint is A.O. seems like he is easily pushed over by Michael. He has a softer personality so his opinions seems less fixed. But over all I probably like the newest line up more than any of the others.

Excellent job on reviewing the movie, Max. It was one of my favorites of 2009. 5 stars, you master of reviews, you.

nice review Max. Sorry to hear your cousin cried after he woke up. 5 stars for your video and review.

I agree with you, i didn't start watching the show until late 2008, so my first experiences watching At the Movies weren't good ones, lol, but then I heard Michael Phillips from the Chicago tribune and A.O. Scott of the NY Times were taking over so i started watching the show again, glad to see that the studio fixed their mistake lol.

Great review, Max! Glad to hear you enjoyed it. I haven't seen it yet, but I might have to rent it just from your recommendation.
Hey Gab, judging by your tv, it looks like you like to watch At the Movies. So let me ask you this, between the last two hosts, Ben Lyons and Ben Mankiewicz, and the current two hosts, Michael Phillips and A.O. Scott, who do you think is better?

Ya caught me - please don't tell the YouTube copyright-infringement police! I've always enjoyed At the Movies, since the old days of S&E... I also quite liked it with Roeper when he had rotating guests, and at the time enjoyed both Phillips & Scott (I enjoy reading Scott's reviews too). CONT...

I hated the Ben/Ben version! Mankie knew his stuff, but I didn't love his vibe; Lyons was a tabloid-tv idiot with no film savvy whatsoever. So I'm quite happy with Phillips/Scott; I agree with them alternately, like their rapport, and respect their views. That's me - what about you? LOL

Gab, did you see the film? It's nice to hear that kids are enjoying it because Wes Anderson films always alienate the general population. This is no exception, there were 4 people in my theater.

No, Dad took Max. I'd really like to see it - I like anything that's a bit different.... I was glad Max got it!
