  • lol. it's called "an attic fan". been around a LOOOOOONG time. so, what guarantee are you giving me for energy savings if I purchase your product? By "guarantee", I mean cash if you don't meet your claims.

  • What does this satisfaction Guarantee cover? Home Energetics guarantees complete satisfaction with the our products if properly installed and continually used in an occupied residence or building for term specified. If for any reason you as the purchaser of our product are not completely satisfied at the end of the term period with the performance, comfort, energy savings, or other benefits installed,

  • - a full refund of the purchase price will be paid to you, LESS any energy cost savings realized by you from the performance of the product.

The amount Home Energetics calculates that you are entitled to receive, based on the forgoing, is the Net Refund Amount.

    2. What is the period of coverage of the Satisfaction Guarantee? This Limited Guarantee covers a period of time beginning with the date products were properly installed and continues for term specified on reverse side, thereafter. :

  • You are not covered by this Limited Guarantee if you should fail to do any of the following:

You fail to timely register to obtain the Certificate as required on the Home Energetics Guarantee registration form. During the guarantee term, (1) you remove our products from the place you originally installed it, or (2) discontinue its use in some manner for a period of time during the guarantee period,

  • cont. - or (3) you change ownership or tenant occupancy of the building or residence in which Energy Guard was originally installed. You fail to claim your refund as required in the Certificate within (30) days following the Guarantee expiration date. You transfer, sell, or assign your Home Energetics products covered by this Guarantee (e.g., this Guarantee is available only to you; the customer named on the front of this Certificate, and is NOT VALID if claimed by anyone else.

  • Your Net Refund Amount will be calculated and paid to you by Home Energetics.

I'm sure typing this all in one message would have been easier then having to respond with numerous comments, but just in case the guarantee question comes up again, it is now explained for others to view as well.

Did any of this help answer your question?

  • @pmaybrey The REAL sarcasm, which obviously went unnoticed, regarded your guarantee. Now, having read your guarantee, I get it. "H.E. calculates the energy savings and deducts from the refund.". And there is no mention of refunding installation. So when it doesn't work as advertised, I'm on the hook for installation + what YOU say I saved in energy? LOL. If I saved 30-40%, why the hell would I want to get rid of it? To me, this seems like a scam. I think I get how it works.

  • @pmaybrey here's what the "attic fan" comment means: you talk about the product's amazing abilities, but then you're selling it with an attic fan. Attic fans have been used for a very long time to cool attic space and therefore the house. If your product does what you say, why do I also need an attic fan, when I know the attic fan already does the job on it's own?

  • @kenfo0 sorry I don't have time to type an explanation of our guarantee at the moment I've just cut and pasted some of the warranty details for you. Easier to explain verbally rather then on paper. Not sure what your comment that read....its called "an attic fan" was pertaining to but your sarcasm didn't go unnoticed. Not everyone purchases our attic fan.... but installing both the energy blanket and fan together definitely work better in conjunction and save you more on your bills. Cont. -
