the old nad amps do have a nice warm sound ive had loads of them over the years to get the one i liked the most. Have an old 3140/2140 power amp combo and it sounds incredible. Had it linked from my dell e520 pc with the upgrade soundcard n it sounds brill but i prefer the sound from a cd off an old NAD 5000 disc player which reads cd-r's not bad for a 26 year old machine
