Gerd Muller just might be the most prolific scorer of all-time...look at his Wiki page, the numbers are absolutely astounding! My lord, this guy had an international strike rate over 1 goal per game, ludicrous! 68 goals in 62 games!....including 14 WC goals
In the Bundesliga he scored 532 goals in 589 games.....7 of those seasons he scored more goals than games played!
It's too bad he doesn't get more recognition....seriously, this guy was a scoring machine like no other.

What a great player - what would he would be worth today? What Ger Muller had was character as well. A lot of the players of today are overpaid spoit brats. It was sad to hear of his health problems but such a nice thing was done by his former colleagues to help him out - again people from another era. This man truly is a living legend.
