Static-X is one of my favorite bands. I wouldn't listen to half the heavy stuff I do today if it wasn't for Static-X! Wisconsin Death Trip is one of the best albums ever made and some of the best live songs too! Static-X did not disappoint! They played plenty of old stuff mixed in with the new stuff! if you have a chance to see them get tickets now!!

dude you missed where Wayne got drenched in beer and cried off the stage!... cant really say I blame him though, just glad he came back and played the full set.

Different show, your thinking of when they opened for Mudvayne. That show sucked. I didn't even bother videoing that show. This is the tour with Saliva who cancelled so they moved it into the small venue next door to the Palladium. This show Static X headlined and it was AMAZING! The way Static X was meant to be seen!

I love Static-X. I have been a huge fan since Wisconsin Death Trip, and they have even influenced my own music as well. But I can't help but feel screwed-over by Cult of Static. It really doesn't sound like Static at all! First off, Wayne's vocals are nothing more than monotone screaming now, whereas in the old days he actually sang. There are some good songs on the album, but nothing to the same caliber as good old-school Static-X.

@ExcludedYeti HAHA pretty much as soon as Wayne came on stage someone threw a full cup of beer and hit his left side (dont think a drop hit the floor), after that someone else threw a partial beer that didn't hit him, so he stopped and gave a short speech about if anyone threw another beer they were done... so someone threw pretty much an empty cup, he stopped the band and stormed off the stage... but his manager (i guess) talked him into finishing the show

i agree, the album has amazing songs, but the feeling doesnt seem there. live they are wild tho

the songs on Cult of Static are good, it just does not have any energy of feel.

if the songs sound anything like Static Live

it would have been a great album; probably their greatest.
