Yayoi Kusama's "Dots Obsession"

During the 2008 Japan! Culture + Hyperculture Festival at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama took over two rooms on the upper level. She decorated both rooms in large dots. One room, titled "Dots Obsession--Night", has yellow dots against a black background. The other room, "Dots Obsession--Day", has black dots against a yellow background. The general public was allowed to walk through both rooms (the only rule was to not touch the giant balloons because they were fragile).
