A close-up look at this beautiful and yet affordable knife.
I bought it on eBay via TheBladeArmory. I paid $38.55, $31.6 for the knife, 6.95 for shipping via US Postal First-Class Mail.

I will update this knife review once I have more experience with this knife. I intend to use it as an EDC.

This knife weighs 3.5 ounces (a little over 100g).
The blade edge length is 3 3/4 inches. (9.5 cm).

  • 8cr14mov steel is a softer steel its on my benchmade vex it holds an edge pretty good and i had to sharpen my knife about 3 times a month but i like to keep my blade razor sharp overall u need to keep up with the blade but its a good steel

  • what do you use to keep your blades sharp? I'm thinking of getting the Edge Pro system, it seems it to be the one that gives you the most control, if you can afford it!

  • hi,i like your reveiew. i have a question though. when i press down on the flipper-i can not get it opened fast. it will go half way unless i sling it,but all the reviews people just easially do it. any suggestions for me?

  • You may have to let it wear-in a bit. One thing I did out of curiosity is take the whole knife apart and re-oil it. I should have filmed that actually. Very few parts indeed. Makes the knife more reliable and cheaper I guess. Putting it back together, I realized you can tune the friction of the blade axle a little bit to help it get this blitz-fast flipper opening.

  • according to McGinnis vid on utube its flat ground although from this vid it looks like its hollow ground. confusion :P

  • if i were you i would get a sharpmaker , an edge pro is a good system but its more for steels that are a bitch to sharpen like zdp189 , d2 and s30v.

8crmov wil take an edge very quick on a sharpmaker , nice knife that summa , ill go and order one right now
