  • I'm refusing to read tGS until I've reread the entire series. I finished tEoTW today. But damn it, that's how we WoT-fans roll! Nothing half-assed! :-P

  • No greater series then Wheel of Time! Jordan was a master! when you read back over the books you see how subtle he was at giving hints at what will, or may come! It amazes me one man set this up! And sadly could not finish his epic work!

  • @JerridPayne It has its faults to be sure. The writing can be slow, the interactions between the characters could certainly be deeper. At the same time, I've yet to come across a book or series that provides such an expansive metaphorical framework through which to understand the world. In many respects, it's an encyclopedia about our world. Are they the best books of all time? Not by a long way. To dismiss it as juvenile however seems to merely indicate the depth to which you read.

  • @aussierossi Expand your literary horizons. Wheel of Time is absolutely juvenile when you get out there.

  • i bet that jennifer liang women went to her car after this to go home and the wheels for her car were gone and then she just hears her mother just like "you should have kept your mouth shut, your not going anywhere.........."

  • @16Canadian Not sure, but I believe Rand saw it in The Great Hunt when the Heroes of the Horn were summoned. Again though, not sure.

  • I always wanted to read The Wheel of Time series, but I never did it until a few weeks ago. Im reading book five now and love it!

  • i was just reading up on the gathering storm, as well as the wiki for the series. im wondering, what the hell the deal is with the dragon sword??? apparently from rand's own memories but only recently unearthed. wtf can someone explain please?

  • Robert jordan i think was Rand in another time. Not many books intrest me but the Eye of the world book first got me hooked many long late nights reading once you start reading these books you can't stop bummer Jordan couldn't finish the last and final book. But the one thing about his books he leaves you hints about what will happen later in the next books it's like i knew what was gona hapen before i read it. When you read these books you almost feel like your in the story great books to read

  • screw jordan 4 dying and leaving us with Sanderson!! ON a sidenote there is a striking similarity between ff9 main character and mat down to the weapon and stealing a princess that was running away anyway.

  • @nakenmil Yeah, I did it too. There is way too much content to pretend to remember.

  • Wish I had the money to buy all the books :(
