is this edited? The classic part when the stoned girl says "he's the captain" is left out I think? Also the part where Bowie talks more about losing his mind into Ziggy... ?

that's what music today is missing...an intellectual, eccentric, artist, brilliantly balancing the line between genius and madness...Bowie is like a drug to me. he makes life more interesting..thanks for helping me make this connection

@weaselsuit I think many of them were expecting the Diamond Dogs/Glam thing but what they got is what we see here, more of a Soul Revue/cabaret feel to the shows. As the tour travelled across the States Bowie was influenced by the soul music coming out of Philadelphia and acted on it there and then as only he could by transforming his show. A genius.

Bowie is one of the few musical geniuses ever to appear on the rock stage, he wrote music that was unpredictable and always surprised us with his choice of musicians and musical directions. He hardly ever sang a flat or sharp note live and had an amazing sense of expression and rhythm to his singing style. You can’t expect a genius like that to be normal act normal or even dress normal, there is nothing normal about him; maybe that’s why we love to watch him and listen to his music.
