LOL! Now the DNC is endorsing the one campaign. What a load of crap! The One Campaign is so full of shit, I don't even know where to start.
I mean, just giving a bunch of charitable handouts to poor folks is NOT gonna solve poverty. What will solve poverty is economic growth and giving sustainable jobs with good pay to citizens. Encouraging strong business growth is what will lift these people up in places like Africa. I mean, microfinance has done wonders for so many poor folks.

just like corporate socialism, where govenrment use money that suppose to help people out of proverty, and give welfare to the corporation so that they can't don't have to get off their lazy ass and complete with actual companies, i.e. halliburton and blackwater.

You are so correct. Charities do nothing but enrich their own pockets. If you want to help someone, go down your own street and you will quickly find someone in need.

ScottFromTexas is perfectly correct. Why do these celebs persist in trying to persuade us that socialism is in any way moral? Every single attempt at government-run charity turns into yet another corrupt statist power grab that does nothing to help the poor, and everything to help the bureaucratic tyranny we live under. Just say no.

There are many sides, all right. There is the side of the irresponsible people who always cause problems with their hands out. There are the irresponsible arrogant celebrities who want to get credit, but not PAY for this. And then there are the productive masses in this country who actually make it work and are being asked to fund the other two groups. Which side are you on?
