OSHA regulates ALL workplaces, Jeanne, not just manufacturing facilities. If the quality in that particular bar would have been that horrible, the employees or whomever did the study should have called OSHA. OSHA would have been more than happy to come in and do an air particulate test, I can assure you.
And as for Mr. Busybody Health Guy, dirty dishes, hairnets, asbestos and undercooked meet are UNKNOWN risks that a person can't possibly avoid if they aren't aware of them.

@KripDrip lol. You've had your head filled with propaganda mate, quite willingly no doubt, because you clearly dislike smoking. Passive smoking was invented as part of a plan of 'denormalisation'. See the Godber Blueprint. Show me your evidence. For every study that shows a risk there are 6 that show it's harmless. See Boffetta et al 1998, or Enstrom & Kabat, and many others. You must understand that what you like, or don't like, does not influence the truth in any way.

@sedna69a how bout these facts. As a bartender who breathed in that shit for 10 years I CAN TELL YOU FIRST HAND how much different I feel now that it's been 18 months since the ban started. It's beyond obvious how smoking hurts your health, just look and listen to a smoker, is it possible for them to laugh and not cough? LOL So to think that it hurts them, but the same smoke is harmless to anyone else is about as idiotic as it gets. Look at half the chemicals in cigs, you think that shits safe?

What are the non smokers going to do about all the pollution that they breathe in from cars and trucks and buses? Are we going to outlaw lawnmowers too? Give me a damned break. This is B.S. Lets do away with cars, because you are ALL breathing in pollution from those sources too. Why don't you non-smokers give up your cars to "clean up" the air that other people breathe?

From the EPA's bogus "study" of the 1990's found to be "biased and unscientific" in federal court. Also most of these 3 or 4 were FORMER smokers and it violated the radon act. Radon is the leading cause in non-smokers.
Go get the facts.

Miss "Piggie" Pigner of "smoke free valley" probably would not be impressed by the additional fast food joint ban in south LA or the Alabama bill introduced to ban fat people from restaurants. This bill had co-sponsership.
If you want some friendly advise piggie pigner, start smoking. It might help you lose some weight.
