i say the first game had the best platforming. from the 2nd and onward it mainly focused on shooting.

Ahh, Ratchet & Clank...my first PS2 game ever. Also definitely has to be one of my favorite PS2 games ever, simply because it's a really fun platformer where you get to blow shit up.
