@nizhegezhutou actually the majority of Tibetans are against the Communist occupation. Eventually Tibet will be free. It is my hope it is not violent, but if that is what it takes for Tibetan Cultural freedom, then so be it.

Ummmm...no. How about we let Texas become independent? Before you go around destroying the bonds of other countries, I urge you to actually learn something about historical relations first. Please do not make judgment on these matters when you do not know s*** about Tibetan-Chinese roots. Thank you.

Taiwan will ALWAYS be a part of China. If the people of Taiwan do not consider themselves Chinese, then please let go of everything chinese, including chinese customs, chinese food, ANY dialect of chinese language(including fujian), chinese heritage, etc. Above all, get off Taiwan island, because it is Chinese territory.

Tibet has always been close to China, but they use a different language, they are different ethnic origin, maybe Tibet can be part of Mongolia (if you know History) more then China. And it's all about freedom, not independence. Religious and personal Freedom. The same that young Chinese where asking in Tiananmen Square in 1989...that's history to remember!
If Tibet is part of China, then China can it be considered part of Japan?! It was occupied for quite a long time...but they fight to be free!

ajaanjacopo, 1st most people in Tibet do not want to be independent, they have normal life as othere Chinese; 2nd, Tibet belongs to China now, important place for China, so it is not possible to take it away. Maybe you can try by sending enough army.
