  • I have always thought of rabbit hunting as evil, considering a fluffy dog snatches up an adorable wild rabbit. But now that my uncle is training his new Jack Russel puppy to hunt rabbits, it's quite fun. I aid in training because I pull a piece of rabbit fur on the ground for the puppy to chase. Unusual, as one day we just found half of a rabbit skin lying in a state park trail :)

  • @amax7895 If you've never had rabbit, you can never appreciate the sport. Now that you're training a dog, that's the first step towards a whole new world of hunting. The dogs are amazing, and rabbit meat is delicious. I've never used a Jack Russell - they can be a bit stubborn. When you do your first hunt, be sure to film it, then send it to us!

  • What do you think is the best way to train a young beagle about 1 year to year and a half is?

  • @deerhunter250 Scent is the best trainer. Get a rabbit carcass and drag it around. Let the dog play with it and eat some rabbit meat. The dog will get a taste for rabbit, and will get used to the smell. Good luck!

  • is it hard to shot them?

i think alligator hunting is better then rabbits

  • @donzaliko Normally people use shotguns, so they're not hard to hit. Others, who want more sport may use a .22 or a bow. Alligator hunting sounds radical!

  • @Rockstar7653 Because he's a dog.

  • Great Show!

There is NO other way to truly HUNT for rabbits than a great pack of beagles burning them up. The bond between a dog and his owner is one of life's true gifts.

    Enjoyed the clip!

  • No!!!!! I Disliike this so much! I Love Rabbits, :(

  • @donzaliko Squirrel hunting is a great way to practice your shooting skills, practice using your senses in the woods and practice moving with stealth. They can be difficult to hunt, and they are small targets so you need to be a good shot - and a scope is a good idea too.

  • @AllenFilm lol
