  • the Republicans sustained an unsustainable 2 wars and tax cuts and a mortgage deregulation...how are the republicans able to "sustain" these activites? now they must own up that they fucked up and raise taxes to sustain the rights of people to make a decent wage...including unions...you can't fuck around in congress and spend the people's money and expect to make more concessions. Bull fucken SHIT, no way.

  • @Jeddie256 "working classes rights to get together and demand fair working conditions" false that is your propaganda, better working conditions came free people trading without gov. holding a gun to anyones head. Truth is hard to beat, it wins in the end like gravity. Teacher unions are unelected by people and make policy, they use the force of the gun (gov) in that policy making. Teacher's Union= monopoly that attacks the sovereignty of state.

  • This system is sustainable if we stop giving hand outs and tax breaks to the wealthy and big corporations. We also need to scale back our military spending. This is how you pay for these entitlements. We need to be fair. If you are going to ask those who work in the public sector to give, then you need to ask those in the top 2% to give their share as well. This just isn't what the Republicans want because they have been bought and paid for by the wealthiest 2% in this country.

  • Why has the focus changed on our economic problems? While everyone looks at teachers and other government worker to "share" in the sacrifice, bank CEO's and Wall Street Insiders who caused our woes have been forgotten about. This, so much so, that they're again collecting their bonuses and continuing to foreclose on people's houses. Why are we fighting the little people who work everyday and not redirecting our gaze upon those who enjoy tax loop holes while placing people in the street?

  • These teachers need to get paid if they have to deal with these vile and despicable Minority Student. The public schools have become a War Zone with the Blacks and Hispanics. They are the ones committing all the atrocities in he inner cities.

  • Get rid of Unions.

  • I agree that some teachers may not make great money but in New Jersey it is definitely not the case. The woman highlighted in the video above makes $93,629 a year for teaching SPANISH. Working 8-3pm for 9 months a year. She makes the equivalent per hour of someone making $120k per year. And until recently teachers only paid a minimal amount for benefits and NOTHING toward pension. Ifshe if she was a terrible teacher she would still be making equivalent money and be impossible to fire.

  • how is it "bargaining" when teachers go on strike.. the municipality just has to sit and take it..the municipality has no means of self help..they can't lock lock-out teachers and tell student to go home for the rest of the year, hire new teachers etc.. that is not bargaining that is extortion... so every time the teachers strike or threaten to, they get what they want, thats why things are so out of whack.

  • @Jeddie256 they get 3 months off to recoup....

  • Well if there that broke they don't need too be protesting they need to go to work.We pay there wages any way.
