@TheGamerOnWii I was standing outside and smelled cooking hotdogs--pan fried actually. It reminded me that I was hungry.  If you are starving wanderer in the post-apocalyptic wastes and you smell food cooking, you are gonna start following your nose. Putting the exhaust vents remote and masking them somehow seems prudent.

@leaveitta don't be scared just start to prepare now. Food and firearms are the most important to have not to forget clean drinking water. Have at least food and water for 6mos or more. And move away from the city or suburbs and u should be ok. This crap right here is overkill. If you got everything i meationed plus got another $300,000 to throw away then by all means go for it.

It would seem wise to have a large underground storage tank for water, and even another for fuel. I wonder about cooking inside the shelter, which has vents, but the smell of food might attract human predators.
