R32 Skyline GTSt @ Sandown Track Day

A vid from an earlier lap showing that disaster is looming. I first thought it was tyres going off (too hot) bur now realise the car got sketchy off the straights because on the long straights and at high speeds the gearbox fluid was leaking out and covering the uderside of the car and rear tyres.

you comment on the 1600 having some 500 hp and waying 800 kg, in fact that car weighs about 900 kg and had about 220 hp then. I know that car. just goes to show turbo's and big power dont mean shit!! sucker...

You may be right re the weight, but i saw the size of the turbo and its tuned by Nizpro. I was talking to one of their mechanics on the day and only repeating what i was told. Looking at the turbo i have a hard time believing it only has 220hp, though it is still a Z18. But why run a big Garrett roller for the sort of power you can get from an S15 turbo? As for sucker? Very mature, why am i a sucker, because a race car is quicker then my road car? I dont care, at least i am out there having fun

Good drive, especially holding onto it when it got hairy. I hope to get my R32 out onto the track one day, but I have this condition called poor.

Haha, "ummmmmm where did the grip go?" Were you running semis? Ps i read ur info on the vid, im about 2 months away from purchasing a fairly tidy gtst, its got an FMIC, 2.5" turbo-back to 3", air filter (standard airflow meter) and some suspension goodies, strut brace, tein coilovers, new neothane bushings, control arms etc.. Any recomendations on realitively cheap (around 1500-2500 worth) mods. What have you done to push the RB20 to 330-340atw?PM me if you like, cheers cal.
