  • Any videos planned as an update for this tree?

  • @bonsaialchemist When the tree is ready.

  • It's almost 2 years since you repotted this Mugo Pine, any plans on making a video on its first styling as bonsai?

  • @TheBonsaisensei 2 years is not even a blink of an eye in the time-frame of a tree like this. Maybe this summer we will look at the deadwood but it will take many years to complete. So long as I see it before I die I will be happy.

  • wow! really incredible.....hope it's doing well

  • @smallfaucet Following this work the tree slowed down quite a bit as you would expect, however this year it is stronger than ever. New movie on this tree coming soon.

  • That is an amazing tree Graham. Great job as always! How about a tour of your greenhouse?

  • A few people have been getting bent out of shape about the source of such material. All of our trees are are sourced from bonsai professionals across Europe. All are collected with permission and many are actually rescued from construction sites Etc. Kaizen Bonsai only deal with professional suppliers not criminals! We would never condone raping the environment for personal gain.

  • @GrahamWPotter Well put hahahaha, best not to rush things, especially with material this valuable

  • what an amazing tree! cant wait to see an update!

  • that must have been a back breaker lifting it before after the repot !

  • I thought the video of the Yamadori Spruce would be the only video I liked, but this video is impressive. I'd like to see some smaller examples of Shito or Keshitsubo bonsai in your collection or is every thing limited to the larger styles?

  • @intelplatoon The literal translation of bon = tray and the word sai = plantings. Westerners have mutated the words to their own liking. While many people think that bonsai is specific to trees it is not, it is specifically "plantings" grown in a pot to look like a tree(s); thus you have juniper bonsai. While it is true that the most difficult bonsai are trees people can still be bonsai artists by using shrubs or bushes because they project the art of miniaturization of the larger species.

  • ciao, thank you very much, for your videos...in this on, in particular though, on my computer, the music is so loud that i can understand very little of what Mr Potter says.

Thank you for keeping the Spirit of the Japanise Way of looking after Bonsai. =[)
