We had a teenage band in the late 70s... There was this girl, Tina Carmie, she could sing this song better than the original(in my opinion). Don't know what ever happened to her.... If she isn't singing/playing somewhere, what a waste of talent!!

My friend's band used to play this song at gigs around Berkshire in 1971 - 1972. I saw them play it at a club gig in a caravan park once, and was quite impressed. It sounds slightly awkward, a bit like the songs of Status Quo in that same era.
