A couple of years ago when i was about 10, my mom caught a lost cockatiel at my football game. He was starving and was on the brink of death. However eight years later my mom still has him and he is very healthy and alive. I wish the best for those who help stranded or sick cockatiels. AnnieBirdy you are amazing and keep it up.

YOUR AN ANGEL. I wish more people would be like you and care so much. Our Cockatiel Molly flew away this past June. I am still looking for her. If I can't find her .I hope to God that someone like you has found her.
Wishing you and Ginny Lots of Happy years together. Big hugs to you both.

Oh JLL, I am so sorry you lost your darling bird, I do hope that one day very soon she is returned to you, or, if not, like you said, in a very warm and loving home being spoilt and cared for. Thankyou so much for your lovely comment, and the very best of luck, prayes and good wishes for the safe return of your baby

Thankyou so much Birdlady! Ginny was one of my most precious rescues, because NO-ONE believed she had a hope in hell of surviving. I wasnt convinced to be honest, who would be looking at her... but something told me to drag her on, I could not give up. I did drag her, push her, I believed this little life was NOT ready to end. And she proved me right, God bless her!!!

Its awful isnt it. Thats what she looked like when she was blind, and dying. She was amazingly brave and strong and fought to survibe with all her little sweet heart.
