I don`t look at the world and see people of different colored skin, I see people and only people. Once we stop separating ourselves from the others. Once we stop saying you are white or you are Native American, racism will cease to exist. I don`t live a racist life style. I see people as just that, people. The stereotype on how people see Native Americans living as only give more to allow people to look down on them. My mother tried to warn me my whole life as a kid, she told me with nothing but honesty behind her eyes, that the place we live in is full of racists. I never understood what she meant, till I opened my eyes, and saw the world through the eyes of my people.
