Help Me. I am trying to find a good camcorder less than $300 that has HD quality, 8-10 megapixels for still images, low light performance, that has the battery life of 1-3 hours, and small and portable.

i really need help.
we have this one. however, my husband does recordings of the music that he does for his DJing projects.
he wants to be able to record what music he is making on his turntables straight from his mixer, not from what comes out from the speakers+you can hear breathing etc
can you tell us if there is some wire or something that we can use, or is not an optoin on this particular model?

There is no input jack. The only audio you record is from the microphone on the camcorder unfortunately. I usually lay a new track in iMovie with a high quality microphone on videos that require it.

does itt have a lens cover and a hdmi port?

It has a lens cover built in, but no HDMI port.
