  • @tjermoal When men like Robert Fuller got in front of a microphone, what they said was real. It was legitimate emotion that they used from their legitimate personality. The matches were worked, the angles were set up, but they were not given scripts and they were not told what to say. They were told "this is the match this is what is going on, go talk about it" and they came out and talked about it just like they might in real life but with the volume turned up a few notches. It was not fake.

  • Ele1960 EASY NOW that's my dad.. lmao.. Yeah I heard that too tho. Missy Hyatt supposidly started that rumor. DAD WAS AND STILL IS THE KING SHIT!! DEFINETLY HAS THE "GIFT OF GAB"... Awesome at everything he does. Thanks for this vid.

  • @sammys70 u know is fake right. wwe is fake to, u talk like its for real

  • 99% of the clowns in the wwe could never cut a promo like this.

  • @eslubin manic depression.

  • @elc1960 Not to mention he was a lot more of a bad ass prior to "Tennessee Lee" or "Rob Parker" as well.

  • Ron Fuller used the "Tennessee Stud" nickname before Robert. It actually just comes from a Johnny Cash song.

  • If you remember Robert Fuller as "Colonel Parker", "Tennessee Lee" or "The Tennessee Stud", then you'd have a hard time believing this, but Robert used to be quite the teen hearthrob in the South when he started out (early '70s). He was much thinner then, too. According to Mick Foley, he earned his nickname of "The Tennessee Stud", because he was allegedly hung like a . . . well, you get the idea.

  • Note the difference between the announcer talking at the beginning at when he starts up at 3:09
