@benavnon10 I don't game. but it will work for games. For the price, you could get a higher performing gaming card - it depends on where you spend most of your time.

I plan to buy this card but I got only one question, I know its a graphics and designing card but does it run games good too? Ill really appreciate if you could answer :)
-
yes - it's basically the same as a 5670 - not sure if it's as optimized (drivers-wise) - but it does support dx9-11, OGL, etc.

can i play games whit this video card??

Is that an active DVI to Display port adapter or a plain old passive adapter?

@kriios it's a passive Display port TO DVI adapter. The card has a DVI port and a DP port, the adapter allows you to use two monitors each with DVI cables.

@gogapredator anyone else have a comment? It really depends on your app, if you need Cuda, driver stability for your app, etc. I would probaby go Nvidia for my next card for Cuda... but who knows.

does it work on PCIe x16 v1.0 ?
buhdab 4 months ago
@buhdab probably not - read of someone else trying it in 1.0, and the computer wouldn't POST. ATI's website says PCI Express® 2.0 x16 is a System Requirement.
