Yes, I agree. Even though both are godan, the other guy demonstrated more control and better form. But both of them has things to work with. Godan is high grade, therefore is more expected of them.

The guy in the brown hakama should have won the match. The other guy had small, whippy cuts and didn't demonstrate enough zanshin for someone of his rank.
