If I understand the concept, and separate the "ism" from the people group. Zionism is to the Jewish people as The Royal family is to the British. Zionist are the elite power class of their particular people group. If this is true, then to accuse someone of ant-semitism for being against Zionism would be the same as saying one is anti-anglo-saxon, for being against the British Royals.
