Hey, the video is really great. However your info is a bit off. Jamestowne is the first permanant English settlement. St Augustine, FL is the first permanant settlement. All in all, I love the pace and the music of the video! :)

If your interested in Jamestown, one good book is Surviving Jamestown. It's historical fiction, and it follows a fictional boy who was the apprentice of John Smith. But the book does describe what it might have been like as a settler surviving in Jamestown.

Thanks for posting. Jamestown was the last trip I went on with my father before he passedaway last january He was a real history buff and would have loved this clip.

Thanks for posting I haven't been back to Virginia to see Jamestown and Williamsburg since I left in 91. I really need to go back and take my kids to see it!
