Funny Eid Prayer In Jigjiga, Ethiopia

In-fact, this is not actual prayer sermon. But it was a kind of awareness creation program targeting Jigjiga community.

It was recited by a young boy from Ableelo Sub-clan of Bartire Tribe, which inhabit Jigjiga, Eastern Ethiopia.

The objective of this funny sermon was to shed a light on the land problem which exists in the southern part of the Jigjiga Town. It was intended to aware the land owners about the difficulties that people from the diaspora community face from buying lands on southern Jigjiga.

There's famous saying in this part of the world which says "If you buy a plot of land on south of Jigjiga, instead of paying the market price of the plot in once, you will eventually pay the price of the whole town.

In the middle of the sermon, the preacher swifts into political issue. He mentions the Jinacsani and Babile towns, the towns that Orromiya Region took as result of unfair referendum.

Also the boy tries to show the problem of the Dilaal (Brokers) by referencing two of the most notorious Dilaals in Jigjiga town.

Thanks to this message, the land owners of south of Jigjiga now became the most welcoming land sellers in whole Somali State.

I want people to look this video on the aspect of awareness creation but not in respect of religion.
