Rattling sound coming from the rear passenger side. Can't seem to pinpoint it. The brake pads still have lots of life left in them. I do have a lot of pulsating when braking. Can anyone help? This is a 2007 Subaru Impreza 2.5i. Watch in HD to hear the sound better.

  • My 1999 Mercury Cougar seems to have a similar sound yet no brake pulsing. The fact that my dad took the car to the mountains off paved road seems to point to a rock in the brakes.

  • @Adrammalech7570 It was a rock stuck between the rotor and heat shield. I posted another video of that. Drove me nuts.

  • hmmm I seem to be having kinda same rattling noise from my Saab. Did you fix this??

  • @anupvade it ended up being a rock stuck between the rotor and the heat shield. The next video I uploaded shows it. I didn't see the first time I had the wheel off. It's all quiet now. :)
