U are wrong, Tasawwuf (wrongly labeled Sufism) is a part of Islam! It traces it`s origins with Islam! That is a fact... Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi (Rah) is a student of Hazrat Shamsuddin Tabriz (Rah), and they are Muslim saints!

Tasawwuf is about the love of Allah (swt) and the holy Prophet Muhammad (saw)! And to purify oneself!

UUUhhh my Sufi brothers, :D Peace be with you. Part of the collective body of Islam. Not A Sect they do not have a different Quran :P.. Rather they are a different school of thought who provide necessary infinite in depth knowledge in their own field which happens to cover the in depth spiritual and mystical side of Islam.

Fitnah is n evil that comes about from mans free will! Lets dwell in humble topics about this beautiful Music in which I rather my children listen too, rather than have them listen to garbage and imitate trash, God willing. May the Lord God forgive and not curse those who intentionally are here to cause Fitnah! Then again Fate is already written so, we never know! :)

Souf in Arabic means Wool and also means to totally clean something. Sufis wear clothes of Wool because it is cheap and also clean out there hearts from Nafs (Urge to Sin) and become close to Allah.

It is not a sect but a muslim of a pious high standard (Proven in Surah Waqiah)

@Princ3ssBugis tell me what you mean by the term wahhabi ? do you mean the Salafis or..? if it is then you should know that the salafis don't just follow 1 madhab they follow all four because then they can refer to which is closer to the sunnah and that is true islam; following the sunnah.. if anyone says that they are too strict then let me ask, can you be too strict in Islam? if the shariah, the qur'an and the ahadeth of the prophet(saw) are there for you to go back to them then cn u go wrong?
