  • Don't listen to any of the ignorant comments here. I have been through what you are currently going through when my then fiance from Peru was detained and later deported. I want to commend you for being open about your situation. The more of us that speak out on behalf of our foreign loved ones, hopefully someone will take notice and realize how necessary immigration reform is. You are in my prayers!

  • I hope the comments are coming from descendants of Native Americans, otherwise I don't think you have room to talk. And you are right, the law is the law so DHS should stick with it's own policy on this one. Ivan is the lowest priority level and they stated they will stop going after students, so let's stick with policy here.

  • @flexorder but see its easier for an American citizen to go travel anywhere around the world.now if you don't have money like those that come illegally it can be a major problem because the US only lets the rich get residency quickly. but th ones that come are poor like i said. soo it sucks i know you didnt ask or dont care or it isnt your problem but im just stating this fact.

  • Maybe the child was not at fault when they were a child and had no control over the parents Illegal entry into the U.S. But once that child has reached adulthood and then made a decision to continue the criminal activity of their parents by remaining here illegally, then they too are now a criminal.

We don't accept excuses that, " Oh I'm sorry I'm a Bank Robber, It's all I know because my parent raised me as a Bank Robber. NO.. That's no excuse for breaking the law.

  • i had the same situation.... when he had to leave my world came crashing down... i have a daughter that loves his very much here. please stay strong... i know exactly what your going thro. im still going thro it. dont give up...

  • Well, stop whining and go with him. Or you could date one of you own kind, an American. Foreigners are not wanted here. American Jobs R Only 4 Americans.

  • The U.S. has a strange immigration policy. People are willing to risk living in the U.S. illegally because the government lets illegal immigrants go to school, get medical treatment and gives citizenship to all people born in the U.S.. I am an American living in a foreign country and all illegals here are deported without trial. If I overstay my visa, I lose my residency rights. I do sympathize with you on a personal level but the law is the law.
