Bad Attitude

I was FINALLY able to grab the video camera away from Laid Back Jim and do a song of my own! This is an original composition about one of life's less pleasant but necessary interludes...

BAD ATTITUDE

Doctor's office called today said I hadn't been there in a while.

The time was right, so they explained, to add some x-rays to my file.

I said I felt fine but this they did not care to know.

I clenched my jaw, gritted my teeth and finally agreed to go.

I arrived on time and sat for an hour got so mad I was ready to burst.

When they took some clown who just walked in because his appointment came first.

I finally get in to see the doc, he says "Hop up on the table".

With a smirk mainly the young possess he add, "That is if you're able".

CHORUS:
Doc, say I, "You're not funny and, more than that you're rude".

"My My" he says "how about showing a little gratitude".

Last time there they checked my eyes, my ears and my nose.

This time round they checked my fingers, my feet and my toes.

Then he said those words that make even the strongest men weep,

"Drop those drawers, bend over the table, and don't forget to breathe deep".

CHORUS:
"Doc" says I "You're one nut case and, more than that, you're lewd".

"My My", he says "You really ought to lose that bad attitude".

Thanks for stopping by, Nick! The song is based - very loosely - on the family doctor that practices here in town. His last name is he same as the main street where his office is located. Fortunately I really do like he guy!
